Homestead offers champagne dinner | Sandusky Register 50 years ago, 1963: Russell's Homestead Inn, with a colonial-type atmosphere and featuring fine foods and drinks, located on U.S. 250 just north of Milan, offered a "Champagne Dinner," which included pink, burgundy or dry champagne plus filet mignon, soup, salad, onion rings, potatoes, coffee, tea or milk and after-dinner mints.
