A 'Golden Age' for home care

SANDUSKY — Golden Age Homecare — a locally owned, non-medical home-care company — recently celebrated its first anniversary. Hosting the event: Golden Age's founder and owner-operator PaviElle Williams, who established the company in 2025. Before this, she dedicated 13 years to caregiving. "Williams followed her passion and created a company committed to helping seniors and individuals remain safe, comfortable and cared for in their own homes," according to a company statement. So what does Golden Age Homecare do? It provides "dependable and compassionate assistance with personal care, companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, errands, appointments and other daily living needs," the statement read. The company serves families throughout Sandusky, Huron, Norwalk, Port Clinton, Castalia and surrounding communities. During its first year, "Golden Age Homecare has continued to grow through community referrals, recommendations from families and the dedication of its caregiving team," the statement read. "The company's one-year anniversary celebration recognized its caregivers, honored former clients through a Golden Angels remembrance table and presented donated hours of care to local clients," it noted. "What started as a dream has grown into a company that had the honor of serving 18 families during our very first year," Williams said.
