Lottie Lorrain Roberts Keahey

TOLEDO, Ohio — Lottie Lorrain Roberts Keahey was born June 11,1928, to Georgia Roberts Ward and Curnell Roberts Sr. in Laurel, Miss. The Lord called his daughter to walk with Him on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018. Lottie attended Oak Park High School. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church under the leadership of the Rev. Curtis A. Brown. She was a faithful member until her health failed.Lottie was employed with several companies over her life including, Sands Diner, Cedar Point and Stein & Associates until she retired. Lottie loved bowling, traveling, and being around family.Lottie was preceded in death by her mother, Georgia Roberts Ward; father, Curnell Roberts Sr.; stepfather, Sam Ward; two grandchilden, Clauncey Lynn Keahey and Kenneth Lamar Keys; two brothers, Melvin Peppers Sr. and Curnell Roberts Jr.; and three sisters, Kattie Johnson, Mildred Roberts and Etta Mae Smith.Lottie was married to Samuel Keahey Jr., and to this union God blessed them with five children, Douglas Madison, Stanley Keahey Sr. of Sandusky, Lynette Keys of Sandusky, Vivian Denise Keahey and Chantal Denis Keahey of Toledo, Ohio. She also leaves to cherish her memories a sister, Doris Deloris Ward; a brother, Richard Ward, both of Laurel; grandchildren, Kemmes (Adrianne) Keys Jr., Katrice La'Toya Keys, Mychah Roberts Keahey, Sr., Nisheena Young, Stanley Keahey Jr., Lorenzo Keahey, Chauncey Mychal Keahey, Chaun Mikal Keahey, Chaunta Mykeya Keahey-Beckum; 27 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
