Wild game feed a success

PORT CLINTON — More than 350 people joined together in Port Clinton for a dinner but did not order from a normal restaurant menu.The Port Clinton Fullbackers Club hosted its sixth annual Wild Game Feed at Zink's on Saturday evening.The menu included alligator, deer, pheasant, wild bore, fish, muskrat and many others. "Everything here is homemade," coordinator Dawn Zink said. "Nothing here is store bought."The dinner also included all homemade desserts made by local families.Many local families, including the Kokinda, Sarty, Colston and Lowe families, were among those who assisted in making the event a success."All the proceeds from the event go back to the Fullbackers," Zink said. "It benefits all the players from the Braves to the varsity Redskins."The event included 50/50 raffles, live auction, silent auctions and many more."I am just so pleased how the community has taken this and ran with it," Zink said.
