NORWALK CATHOLIC SCHOOL • St. Paul High School named Kennedie Frazee, Sarah Gocsik and Kade Houck as the September 2026 Kiwanis Students of the Month. — Frazee's activities, honors and achievements: swim, volleyball, Liturgical Ministry Leadership Team, Students for Life, altar server, March for Life, Leadership by Example Award winner, track, culture trip participant, National Honor Society, prom committee and ACE Academic Award — Gocsik activities, honors and achievements: football manager, swim team, class officer, ACE Academic Award, Liturgical Ministry Leadership Team, culture trip participant, National Honor Society, prom committee, Leadership by Example Award and eucharistic minister — Kade's activities, honors and achievements: football, National Honor Society, basketball, student ambassador, track, ACE Academic Award, altar server, Liturgical Ministry Leadership Team, Model UN team, academic challenge team, culture trip participant, track and field and eucharistic minister • Norwalk Catholic School's Flyer Clubhouse learned about apples. Students made caramel apple crafts and conducted apple experiments to see if they float or sink. CLYDE-GREEN SPRINGS • Clyde Elementary School celebrated Teddy Jess as a Positive Office Referral for demonstrating the district's CommUNITY spirit. EDISON • Edison students participated in the annual Sunflower Contest. The Milan Garden Club provided seeds for 70 students to grow sunflowers over the summer. HURON SPORTS ACADEMY • Elyria firefighter Michael Jachym spoke to first- and second-grade students about laws, rules and community helpers.
