TIFFIN — Huron swept Tiffin Columbian 25-17, 25-15, 25-10 in a Northern Ohio Conference crossover volleyball match Tuesday. Mya Smith led Huron (4-1) with 11 kills. Riley Harkelroad added eight kills and Jada Foster finished with six kills. Reece Hotz had 25 assists and five aces while Adelyn Van Sickle had 10 digs and three aces for the Tigers. Lexi Beaston led Columbian (3-5) with nine kills. Edison 3, Sandusky 1 MILAN TWP. — The Chargers defeated Sandusky 25-8, 25-20, 22-25, 25-19 in a Northern Ohio Conference crossover match. Macari Harris led Edison (3-5) with 11 kills and two blocks. Reese Wells added seven kills and five aces. Peyton Bissell had 22 assists and six aces while Paige Keefer had 12 digs and two aces. Mia Thompson had 18 digs for the Blue Streaks (0-6) while Aliyah Watson added 13 assists and six digs. Bristol Young contributed seven digs and two aces for Sandusky while Camille Shepherd and Lauren Dubois each lined four kills. SMCC 3, Lakota 1 SANDUSKY — The Panthers defeated Lakota 25-15, 25-23, 19-25, 25-23 in a Sandusky Bay Conference match. Reid Didion had 11 kills and seven digs for SMCC (4-3, 2-2 SBC). Finley Karr had 30 assists and nine aces. Evelyn Shafrath added nine kills and Peyton Greenaker had seven kills. Khloe West finished with 11 digs, five kills and five aces. Lakota dropped to 2-6, 1-4. Clyde 3, Port Clinton 0 CLYDE — The Fliers swept Port Clinton 26-24, 25-11, 25-21 in a Northern Ohio Conference crossover match that was delayed due to a power outage. Kember Nelson led Clyde (5-5) with 11 kills. Amiyah Paul and Lilly Greenslade each added eight kills. Brynlee Mussell had 28 digs and Kelsey Ray added 20 assists. Kendyl Bollinger had 16 kills and four blocks for PC (2-5). Lila Bishop had 23 assists and seven kills and Ella Carmon had six kills. Gibsonburg 3, Danbury 0 GIBSBONBURG — The Lakers were swept 25-18, 25-11, 25-15 by Gibsonburg, which stayed unbeaten in the Sandusky Bay Conference. Danbury dropped to 6-2, 2-2 SBC while the Golden Bears improved to 6-1, 5-0. Avrey Bowling had six kills and Cali Wunder had 17 assists for the Lakers. TENNIS Port Clinton 5, Huron 0 PORT CLINTON — The Redskins shut out Huron to improve to 10-2 overall and 5-0 in the Northern Ohio Conference Bay Division.
