Saleski thanked for 25 years of service

BELLEVUE — Bellevue police officers recently recognized Capt. Thomas Saleski, who retired "after 25 years of dedicated service to the city." Saleski began his career with the Bellevue police in 2001 as a full-time patrolman. "Throughout his distinguished career, he continued to demonstrate dedication, professionalism and a strong commitment to serving the citizens of our community," according to a department statement. "He later served as a detective before being promoted to the rank of sergeant in 2013 where he served as a shift supervisor." His career resume continued: "In 2019, Capt. Saleski was promoted to the rank of captain where he oversaw the daily operations of the Bellevue Police Department and continued to provide leadership, guidance and support to the officers and staff of the department." "Throughout his 25 years of service, Capt. Saleski's dedication and commitment to the city of Bellevue and its citizens have been greatly appreciated," it read. "His years of service and contributions to the department will not be forgotten." In closing, his now-former colleagues wished him well in his "well-deserved retirement." "From all of us at the Bellevue Police Department and the city of Bellevue, we sincerely thank you for your 25 years of service, dedication and commitment."
