TOLEDO — The Perkins girls soccer team defeated Toledo Central Catholic 9-1 in non-league action Wednesday. The Pirates improved to 2-2-1 with the win. Crestview 5, Clyde 1 CLYDE — Mimi Greenslade scored for the Fliers, but that was it in the non-league loss. Macey Carter made 12 saves in goal for Clyde, which fell to 3-2. Edison 6, Old Fort 0 MILAN TWP. — Emma Lesniak scored twice to lead the Chargers to the non-league victory. Sophia Chaput, Juliana Johnson, Kailyn Dickman and August Hines each tallied a goal in the second half for Edison (2-2), which led 2-0 at half. Natalie Mees made two saves for the shutout in goal for the Chargers. Woodmore 2, Norwalk 0 NORWALK — The Truckers fell to 2-4 with the non-league home loss. BOYS SOCCER Crestview 9, Clyde 0 CLYDE — The Fliers were shut out in the non-league home loss. Clyde dropped to 0-5-1 in the defeat. VOLLEYBALL Huron-Clyde moving The Northern Ohio Conference crossover match between Huron and Clyde will be played at Cedar Point Sports Center in Sandusky on Thursday. With extreme heat predicted throughout the day and no air conditioning in the Huron gym, the game will be played on championship court at CPSC with the junior varsity match beginning at 5 p.m. Huron enters with a record of 1-1 while the Fliers are 4-4.
