Norwalk grad to lead bank branch

NORWALK — First National Bank recently announced the hiring of Karla Ramos Cruz as branch manager for its Norwalk office, 345 Milan Ave. (U.S. 250). "With 10 years of banking experience, Karla is excited for the opportunity to help First National Bank's customers reach personal financial goals, connect local business owners with the right banking resources and being a trusted financial partner for her community," according to a bank statement. This opportunity feels especially meaningful for Ramos Cruz "as Norwalk has always been home for Karla," the statement read. A Norwalk High School graduate, "Karla is excited to return to her hometown and to give back in a new way," it read. "She looks forward to reconnecting with familiar faces, meeting new ones and becoming an active part of the community she cares so much about."
