MONROEVILLE — Johnette M. Smith, 85, of Monroeville, passed away Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018, at the St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo.She was born May 14, 1932, in Cleveland, Ark. She was a member of the Willard Church of God and enjoyed going to Bible study, helping out at the Willard Food Bank, but most of all, spending time with her family.She is survived by four sons, Steve (Barb) Smith of Monroeville, Clifton (Debbie) Smith of Monroeville, Thomas (Pam) Smith of Monroeville and Roger (Ardella) Smith of Norwalk; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her husband, Myles Smith in 1987; her parents, Clifton and Bernice (Medlock) Jones; her step-mother, Althea Jones; and a stepsister, Edith (G.A.)Walls.Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, at the Church of the Nazarene, in Willard. The funeral service will be at the church 11 a.m. Friday, Feb., 2, at with the Rev. James Pomerich officiating. Burial will follow at the Meadow Green Memorial Park in Huron.
