Ken and Donna Neer anniversary

Ken and Donna Neer, of Huron, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary as they enjoyed a Viking River Cruise on the Danube River. An anniversary celebration will be hosted on Sunday, July 26 by their two children and daughter-in-law, Cindy Neer-Norcross, Sean and Diann Neer, all of Berlin Heights. The couple has five grandchildren: Mikayla (Austin) Ogle, Noah Norcross, Gabrielle Norcross, John-Mason (Riley) Neer and Jacob Neer. Additionally, they are blessed with five great-grandchildren: Sawyer Smith, Maddix Neer, Conner Ogle, Cora Ogle and Charlotte Neer. Ken and Donna were married July 30, 1966, at St. Francis Church in Metuchen, New Jersey, and later were transferred to Ohio. Ken served in the U.S. Marine Corps and retired from General Motors New Departure Hyatt as a senior metallurgical engineer after 35 years. Donna retired from the former Providence Hospital as a staff nurse and from Fisher-Titus Medical Center as a second-shift clinical coordinator and emergency room registered nurse.
