Where can heavy trucks travel in Sandusky?

SANDUSKY — Local officials struck a deal to restrict heavy truck movement on a roadway anticipating repairs.During Monday's public meeting, city commissioners updated legislation which bans vehicles equaling or exceeding 15,000 pounds on certain streets. It's the first change since 2006."All we are doing is taking Campbell Street off the list for thru-trucks, in anticipation of modifying the Campbell Street, Scott Street Columbus Avenue intersection, to make it pedestrian-friendly," city engineer Aaron Klein said.Sandusky ex officio mayor Dennis Murray Jr. provided more clarity on the map."It's just a prohibition against thru-traffic.
