Danbury says goodbye to 2 longtime employees

DANBURY TWP. — After more than 50 years of combined commitment to the district, Danbury Schools recently said goodbye to two retirees. Through their careers, Denny Coles and Ron Ossovicki demonstrated an "unwavering commitment" to the district's students, staff and families, according to superintendent Cari Buehler. "Their dedication, professionalism and willingness to serve others have helped create a safe, supportive and welcoming environment where students can learn and grow," Buehler said. Coles served the district as head custodian for 20-plus years, and Ossovicki worked as the elementary school's music teacher for more than 30 years. The influence these retirees have will reach beyond their retirement, according to Buehler. She said the district is grateful for the difference they have made for students and the community. "Whether through their daily responsibilities, their relationships with colleagues or their countless contributions behind the scenes, both individuals have left a lasting impact on our district," Buehler said. "Their years of service reflect not only a commitment to Danbury Schools but also a commitment to public education and the success of future generations."
