Chick-fil-A, Panda Express, Five Below destined for Sandusky shopping center?

SANDUSKY — An advertisement shows several popular franchises coming to a new shopping center on Milan Road (U.S. 250).Plans released by the Goodman Real Estate Services Group reveal a Chick-fil-A, Panda Express, PetSmart and Five Below debuting in the Sandusky Promenade by spring 2018. It's the space situated next to Kohl's and across the street from Toys R Us.It's also the same location where a new TJ Maxx will get built, eventually relocating from the Sandusky Mall. TJ Maxx will act as the anchor tenant, of sorts, for these four other storefronts and possibly others.A reader on Saturday forwarded a blast email, coming from the Cleveland-based Goodman company, which hyped up these developments, to the Register. The group emphasized there's an additional 4,000 to 6,000 square feet available to lease.During the past two years, the Register has received multiple inquiries about a Chick-fil-A popping up somewhere in Erie County. The Perkins Township zoning department, however, couldn't confirm this speculation at any time.
