No 'Mas' — Perkins Taco Bell closed pending remodel

PERKINS TWP. — Area residents will have to get their cheesy gordita crunches someplace else.The Taco Bell restaurant on West Perkins Avenue across from Sandusky High School is closed as the building undergoes a full interior remodel.The remodel started earlier this week, according to Perkins Township Zoning Inspector Megan Sherlund.A representative for the contractor, DA Bentley Construction, said crews will take down the children's play area inside the restaurant, and they will also renovate the parking lot.The renovations are scheduled to finish around the end of the year. Residents can visit Taco Bell's other Perkins Township location at 1000 Fun Drive, across from Walmart.
