8 physicians graduate

SANDUSKY — Eight physicians were recently recognized during the graduation ceremony for Firelands Regional Medical Center's medical education program. A gathering occurred at the Sandusky Yacht Club. Dr. Matthew Braniecki, director of Firelands Health's family medicine residency, acknowledged the following graduates: • Dr. Rebecca Howard • Dr. Mark Khalil • Dr. Frank Kickel • Dr. Stanton Vincent Dr. Kristopher Lindbloom, director of Firelands Health's transitional year residency, acknowledged the following graduates: • Dr. Lindsey Callier • Dr. Daniel Demehin • Dr. John Mhanna • Dr. Holly Ward Dr. Scott Campbell, Firelands Health's chief medical officer, and Dr. Eric Mast, Firelands Health's director of medical education, provided welcoming comments to the graduates and those in attendance. Graduates presented awards to area physicians who were instrumental in providing instruction and guidance during their education: • Dr. Adeyemi Marcus was recognized as Firelands Health's family medicine residency preceptor of the year. • Dr. Frederick Doamekpor was recognized as the transitional year residency preceptor of the year. The Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine Outstanding Physician Awards were presented to the following Firelands Health professionals: • Dr. Melissa DeWilde, a primary care physician • Dr. Gregory Cook, specialty care • Dr. John Yuhas, a primary care specialty physician • Dr. Darcy Davis, DO, a resident physician
