RECURRING EVENTS Sandusky • Ohio Bike Week: Bike Week returns to Sandusky from May 29-June 6. The festival will feature various events, bike rides and live music at the Downtown Block Party. Adams Street. Read books, sing songs with movement, explore age-appropriate art, and more. This event is geared towards ages 18 months to 3 years old. No registration is required. • Toddler Day: From noon to 4 p.m. every Thursday, Ghostly Manor Thrill Center, 3319 Milan Road, will offer free admission to its skate and play areas for children 5 and under. Homeschoolers welcome. There is no cost to attend or registration required. • Stitch & B*tch Crafting Club: Every third Wednesday of the month, the Sandusky Book Bar, 2101 W. Perkins Ave., will host this crafting club for people to work on their crafts outside of the home while being a little social. • Book Bar Patio Yoga with Sam: Visit Sandusky Book Bar, 2101 W. Perkins Ave., every Monday between April 27 and Sept. 7 and bring a mat to particpate in yoga. Each event is weather permitting and cost is $10. • Happy Thursday Community Bike Ride: Every Thursday from June 4 until Sept. 3, Sandusky Bay Cycles is hosting this bike ride through the area, starting at Washington Park and Columbus Avenue near City Hall at 7 p.m. The rides are slow paced, usually go about 5-10 miles and participants will shout "Happy Thursday" to passersby. Bikes, rollerblades, e-bikes, scooters and similar vehicles are welcome, as are people of all ages. Port Clinton • Ottawa County Celebrates America's 250 Years of Freedom- Traveling Exhibit: From June 1-June 30, this traveling exhibit honoring Ottawa County history for America250 will be at the Shores & Islands Ohio Welcome Center - West, 770 S.E. Huron • Osborn MetroPark parkrun: Parkrun is a timed 5K walk/jog/run happening every Saturday at 9 a.m. at Osborn MetroPark, 3910 Perkins Ave. The event is free and open to all ages; people are welcome to bring their strollers or dogs. Registration is required and can be done at parkrun.us/register. • Family Storytime: Every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., the Huron Public Library, 333 Williams St., will host storytime with Miss Melissa. SUNDAY Put-in-Bay • Day in the Life of a Lighthouse Keeper: From 2-3:30 p.m., visit South Bass Lighthouse, 2368 Langram Rd., for a program on what it was like to be a lighthouse keeper. • Put-in-Bay Pride and 5K Color Run: From 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., visit Put-in-Bay for a celebration of fun, inclusivity and entertainment. The first event is a 5K starting at Round House Bar, 228 Delaware Ave., at 10 a.m., and events continue throughout the day, including a scavenger hunt and drag show. Lakeside • Day in the Life of a Lighthouse Keeper: From 7-9 p.m., visit Lakeside-Orchestra Hall, 122 W. Second St., for a program on what it was like to be a lighthouse keeper.
