Derby-inspired event a huge win for foundation

BERLIN HEIGHTS — The Fisher-Titus Foundation recently hosted its inaugural Run for the Roses fundraiser at The Farm 1893 in Berlin Heights — the first event occurring at this venue — bringing together community members, supporters and local leaders for an evening of celebration and impact. In all, it created a memorable and meaningful atmosphere for guests, according to a health care organizational statement. The evening featured food, drinks, entertainment and interactive experiences inspired by the Kentucky Derby, including themed activities and opportunities for guests to participate in the excitement of horse races. The event raised more than $55,000 in support of the foundation's MRI campaign. Proceeds will help fund the acquisition of a new, state-of-the-art MRI system at Fisher-Titus Medical Center, "an investment that will enhance diagnostic capabilities, improve patient comfort and reduce wait times for individuals across the region," the statement read. "We are incredibly grateful for the support of our community and partners," foundation manager Alexis Danhoff said. "A special thank you to Janotta & Herner, our presenting sponsor, for their leadership and generosity in helping make this event possible. Their support — along with the many sponsors, donors and volunteers — continues to move us forward in bringing advanced MRI technology to our patients." The evening welcomed a wide range of attendees and sponsors who share a commitment to advancing health care in the community.
