Recalling the day Becker's cashed in its chips | Sandusky Register Dick Becker died last week. He lived all of his 84 years in Norwalk and was an active member of the community. And, of course, he was the owner of a truly iconic Norwalk brand: Becker's Potato Chips ("They're marcelled!" the chip bags proclaimed.). In his memory, I am reprinting a column first published in February, 1981. Dick and his wife, Nola, liked it very much. And hopefully you will have fun with some of the 36-year-old references.
