20th Hall of Fame tourney April 5-6 at Cedar Lanes

The 20th annual Butch Wagner Hall of Fame bowling tournament is set for April 5-6 at Cedar Lanes.The four-person team event has three squads — April 5 at 7 p.m. and April 6 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.Major sponsors are: Construction Equipment & Supply Co., Sandusky Area Joint Council and Stay Connected.The entry fee is $20 and each bowler receives a free ticket for the Hall of Fame banquet at Cedar Lanes on April 6, starting at 6:30 p.m.The Hall of Fame inductees for 2019 will be announced at a later date.All four-person teams must consist of a least one female or one male bowler and participants must be certified Sandusky USBC members. If a bowler is not certified, he/she must pay their membership fee with their entry.Bowlers must use their highest 2017-18 season USBC-certified average. If no average from 2017-18 exists, the highest average for the current season (2018-19) for 21 games or more at the time of the tournament will be used. All others will bowl scratch (with no handicap).Each bowler receives 90 percent handicap per game from 220.Multiple participation Is allowed. The same team may bowl more than once but may cash only once. At least two bowlers in the lineup must be different in order to cash more than once.Deadline to enter is March 29, or when the field of 96 teams is reached, whichever comes first.
