PREP ROUNDUP: SMCC rallies past Big Red

SANDUSKY — St. Mary Central Catholic trailed by five points after three quarters before rallying to defeat Plymouth 51-47 in non-conference girls basketball action Monday. Allison Lill led the Panthers with 17 points, including two free throws with four seconds to play to give SMCC a four-point advantage. Madi Perkins added 10 points for the Panthers, who improved to 2-1. SMCC outscored Plymouth 18-9 in the fourth quarter. Kendyll Tolbert led the Big Red (0-3) with 20 points. SMCC visits Fremont St. Joseph on Saturday for a Sandusky Bay Conference River Division matchup.
