Ann Marie (Underkofler) Hermes

SANDUSKY — Ann M. (Underkofler) Hermes, 64, residing in Sandusky, passed away Monday morning, May 30, 2022, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center following a brief illness. Ann was born on June 2, 1957, in Sandusky to the late Robert and Virginia (VanHorn) Underkofler. Ann graduated from Perkins High School in 1975. She was the head teller at Civista Bank for 20 years, before moving to Vacationland Credit Union where she had been still working for almost 15 years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Ann was an avid reader, enjoyed camping, adventures with her friend Lynn, baking cooking with her grandchildren, attending her grandchildren's sporting events and spending time with her family. Ann is survived by her children, Jason (Ashley) Hermes of Sandusky, Jeremy (Misty) Hermes of Sandusky and Julianna (Micki Criswell) Hermes of Collins, Ohio; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Oswin (Whitney), Duke, Devyn, Mack and Laci; great-grandchildren, Rowan and Lennon; former husband, Steven "Duke" Hermes and her beloved dog, Minnie. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2022, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Pastor Wally Gilbert will officiate. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Celebration of Ann's life will continue at her daughter's home.
